Did I ever tell you guys my terrible idea for a Picard/Q fic where at some point post-Tapestry Q goes back in time to sort of admire pre-brush with death Johnny Picard in a bar somewhere like gosh, the 2327 Jean-Luc was a damn good year. Not a patch on the ‘69 but a vintage with its own charms all the same.

And then, because Q had actually appeared in human form instead of just lurking incorporeally, Johnny actually goes up to him and makes a pass at him and he’s like “!!! Wow okay”

Or depending on how creepy I want it to be, maybe he turns him down because it’s not his Jean-Luc after all. But either way he immediately goes back to the present like the cat who caught the canary being like oh Jean-Luc, remember when! It was oh so long ago but I remember it like it was microseconds ago. You were so young, so charming. The moon was full. Well it wasn’t at first, but I fixed that…

I don't know, but I like this idea. ;) And yeah, Academy!Jean-Luc would DEFINITELY hit on Q.

It’s totally a hit with me, yes! I’ve written Academy!Jean-Luc, and he’s not exactly a very pleasant guy, but he was banging basically everyone and Q makes quite an attractive younger guy so there would be no question for Jean-Luc... he’d see Q as a trophy or something. I can also definitely see why Q would NOT be amused about this. I wouldn’t be either!
