Like a dandelion up through the pavement, I persist

The remake is a film adaptation of the Broadway show that adapted the original film to stage, so there are musical numbers in it that aren't in the original. I have heard it works a lot better on stage than a movie musical, which may well be true, but as a movie I think it pales compared to the Mostel and Wilder version.
