Let me know if you do! I'd definitely be game to chat about what you thought of it. For what it's worth, I had heard a number of people say that it was markedly better than the original, but I don't think that's true. They are both quite different and have different sensibilities (the US show is more sentimental and less sharp edged in a lot of ways, for example), but I like both of them a lot and neither one more than the other. I have been slightly more YELL about this one, because I got shippy about it, but that's no indictment on the BBC show.
