Oh, I didn't mean to imply that you were doing anything wrong by making the post or anything like that. I just wanted to share my experience and reasons for my different preferences at different times. And I definitely understand wanting to get into the numbers - I just made that post a couple weeks ago on most popular ships in the Trek fandom on AO3 over the past year, for example, and have also made other spreadsheets about fic numbers in various fandoms etc. just for fun.
