First and foremost, I hope that you write something you really enjoy. I will give more specific guidelines in case that’s what you’d prefer to work with, but they are just that: guidelines. Singin’ in the Rain

Requested characters: Don Lockwood, Cosmo Brown, Kathy Selden

Fandom specific DNWs: none

In this fandom I ship every permutation of the requested three characters and would be equally happy with Don/Cosmo, Don/Kathy, Cosmo/Kathy, Don/Kathy/Cosmo, or gen fic.

Prompts:

A story involving Kathy’s first onscreen starring appearance
A polyamorous comedy of errors involving miscommunications about each other’s feelings
Something about the evolution of Hollywood over the lifetimes of the characters — the introduction of the Hays Code etc.
A story that has extracts from biographies, memoirs, biopics, fan magazines, online fan forums reflecting on the lives of the characters
Kathy and Don (and Cosmo, if that’s the route you want to go) balancing family life and their professional lives

Some Like It Hot

Requested characters: Daphne/Jerry, Joe/Josephine, Sugar Kane, Osgood Fielding III

Fandom specific DNWs: none

In this fandom I ship Daphne/Osgood, Daphne/Joe and Joe/Sugar and am very partial to platonic Daphne & Sugar. I would prefer something humorous in tone, along the lines of the movie. Given that the movie involves the leads witnessing a shoot-out as its inciting incident, feel free to include less light hearted elements provided the overall tone is funny. If you have an idea that you can't fit all the requested characters into, that's perfectly okay. I'm not really interested in cis Jerry fic, but I don't want to railroad you and if you don't like writing trans fic or want to write fic where Daphne is trans then I am very happy with fic about other characters.

Gattaca

Requested characters: Irene Cassini, Vincent Freeman, Jerome Eugene Morrow

Fandom specific DNWs: Jerome’s suicide, Jerome having full genital sensation during sex

In this fandom I ship Vincent/Jerome and Irene/Vincent/Jerome. I would love something that plays with identity. Disability themes would also be a big plus for this fandom specifically. Given that one of my DNWs for this fandom relates to a canonical fact, I would prefer post-canon fic be AU, but feel free to write fic that occurs during the movie if you prefer to keep things canon. Once again, if you have an idea that you can't fit all the requested characters into, that's perfectly okay.

Prompts:

Irene and Eugene(/Jerome) reluctantly bond as they wait for Vincent to return to Earth — I did make a similar request in a previous Yuletide and received a wonderful fic based on it, so requesting it again is no reflection on my enjoyment of that fic. Two cakes principle is in full effect.
A missing scene fic where Vincent and Jerome have sex after Vincent brings Jerome to bed
Something about independence vs interdependence and how the characters depend on and need each other and how that might not be the terrible thing that they thought it was
Something, something access intimacy (the obvious choice here is Vincent understanding and anticipating Jerome/Eugene’s access needs, but I think that you could do things with any combination of the requested characters). Can be romantic or platonic.

Galaxy Quest

Requested characters: Gwen DeMarco, Alexander Dane, Jason Nesmith

Fandom specific DNWs: none

In this fandom I ship Gwen/Jason, Jason/Alexander and Gwen/Jason/Alexander and I also enjoy the hell out of platonic Gwen & Alexander. I generally prefer post-canon fic for Yuletide, but this is one where I am also very interested in pre-canon. Winks and nods to Star Trek are very appreciated. And again, if you have an idea that you can't fit all the requested characters into, that's perfectly okay.

Cons they have attended through the years. How have they blended together and which ones stood out?
Gwen and Alexander running lines together for a non-GQ project one of them is up for

A League of Their Own (2022)

Requested characters: Esti González, Jess McCready, Lupe García

Fandom specific DNWs: romantic Esti/Jess or Esti/Lupe

In this fandom enjoy romantic Lupe/Jess and platonic Lupe & Jess equally. Either way, their bond is incredibly heartwarming. Also, the actor who plays Jess has used both she/her and they/them pronouns referring to her, so feel free to explore some Jess gender feels if the spirit moves you.

Something about Matty and Annie’s relationship. With such a big age gap, what was it like for them growing up? Matty seems like such a sweetheart compared to the archetypical bratty little brother (and is canonically compared to the more even tempered Nina Banks as opposed to Annie, who is compared to George, the over-reactor of the family) and is very loving towards his sister. How do they maintain their relationship after she moves out (and eventually moves to Boston)?
Franck or Matty POV of the night Annie gave birth at the end of Father of the Bride: Part II (would prefer third person limited narration, but if you want to write first person then go for it)
