I am always on board with a Mel Brooks comedy (and that he, in at least one interview, goes on record saying that in all of his films, if he gets the opportunity, he intends to make the Nazis and Hitler look like absolute buffoons), and Gene Wilder is one of his favorite people to work with, so it definitely sounds like The Producers is exactly the kind of thing for someone who wants a good comedy send-up of both Broadway and the Nazis.
