Gahhh, I could say so much about this great post. Karate Kid and I go way back to the day in middle school when my brother and sister picked me up from school to take me alll the way across town to see it in the theaters! I have vivid memories of seeing the first three movies in theaters. (The 2010 remake is really the Kung Fu Kid but is a good movie and worth watching.) And then Cobra Kai! A member of my family recommended it, describing it as "fun but dumb," and when I saw it, I was like, "Are you kidding?? This is genius!!" I didn't love it as much after season 2, but the first two seasons are as good as anything I've ever seen, with so much evident love and respect for the movies!
